    "TORBERT'S 5th GROUP"
Color home movies filmed by Special Forces Green Beret Capt. Ronald Torbert in Nha Trang, Plei Djereng and on Hon Tre Island during 1968-69.
You'll see scenes filmed during December 1968, with Christmas decorations in the 5th Group compound in Nha Trang, Vietnamese office women and hootch-maids, and Capt Torbert posing for the camera. Lt General William Peers (Commander of 1st Field Force) makes a VIP visit to the compound and inspects the American and Vietnamese Special Forces troops. There's footage of a fire raging in the compound -- possibly in the Vietnamese troops' living area -- and other footage of the aftermath of a rocket attack on some compound buildings. You'll go on a helicopter flight to Plei Djereng Special Forces Camp, and see shots of the camp and surrounding area. Also, a visit to Hon Tre Island with shots of the compound there. In Nha Trang you'll visit the giant Buddha at Long Son Pagoda, the beach, and see a panoramic view of the city from the hills.
    Running Time: 46 minutes
Includes a soundtrack from AFVN radio.
