buying a box of ten sealed new Maxoptix Tahiti 1 GB glass media magneto optical discs.
This lot contains ten sealed Tahiti 1 GB magneto-optical disk cartridges.  M.O. disks are re-writable tens of thousands of times, and there is probably no better medium for archival data storage.  These are the highest quality MO discs you can get, fabricated on a glass substrate rather than the more common plastic substrate.
Maxoptix was an early developer of optical discs, and these were made for their "Tahiti" drives.  Tahiti drives used a different data storage format than most ISO standard optical drives.  ISO discs cannot be used in most Tahiti drives and Tahiti discs cannot be reformatted for most ISO drives.  So please see the photos for detailed specifications to be sure these disks are compatible with your MO drive, because there are no returns for items ordered by mistake.
If you are still using a Maxoptix Tahiti optical drive this is an excellent chance to acquire a supply of very hard to find sealed new glass media discs.
