Gallé,
Fuchsia vases are one of the prettiest by far.
The detail and workmanship is superior and representative of the better, earlier work by Gallé.  The piece is adorned with F
uchsia flowers.
This lovely piece simply "pops"!
The pattern and leaves are a dark (cabernet) red color above a frosted layered glass background with pink fuchsia flowers.
The pattern starts at the neck as shown and flowers extends down toward the bottom. Research revealed several early
Emile
Gallé
"blownout" vases & molds similar to this one.
Next comes the
Shape
, which is a 10!!!
It's pyramidal, with 4 rounded corners -- a rare and
very
desirable shape.
It's tapered. Very nice! Perfect for any cabinet or display, especially lit.
It's a special vase and won't last long.

Condition: Very Good Vintage, with light surface wear and scratches to the base, otherwise, no cracks, chips or repairs.
Provenance: Private MD Estate. The owner collected/had several fine pieces.
